WORSHIP

Worship is a crossroads. It is a crossroads between heaven and earth. In Christian worship, God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). As the people of God, we worship Him by faith, through obedience to His word, by gathering with His body, by offerings of praise, through acts of service, by the administration of spiritual gifts, and through the giving of our treasures. Worship is a response to all that God is as well as what He has done.

In worship we sing, we pray, we preach, we give, we listen, we serve, and we celebrate the sacraments.

We honor the traditions of those who have gone before us and we create new ones for those who will follow our paths.

Through our worship we transcend the activity of mere mortals and are ushered into the very presence of God. By His Spirit and through His word we are transformed more and more into the image of Christ, and thereby we are equipped for life and ministry.

We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am as we gather to worship God together.
